The Black Eyed Susan is a boutique gift shop in Glyndon, Maryland. In addition to state branded merchandise, they are well known for their wide selection of Wockenfuss chocolates, locally sourced coffee, the infamous Berger cookies and gourmet popcorn. I focused on creating three main page examples: the home page, a product page and a newly developed contact page. In contrast to their current website which features a yellow backdrop, competing imagery and difficult navigation, I opted to design a much more simplified model. I used primarily black and white to keep the each page clean and consistent - using pops of red to make more of a subtle nod to their current Maryland flag color scheme.
