It’s Lit Custom Fragrance Bar is a business concept that I ideated in late 2022. When on the hunt for the perfect fall candle with friends, I became inspired by the concept that what smells good to one person may smell awful to the next. Similar to other experiential in-store experiences like Lip Lab and Build-a-Bear, centered around the personalization of product, I developed the concept of a “Fragrance Bar.”

When visiting “It’s Lit, ” each customer is able to work directly with a member of the Fragrance Lab to create their own custom scent. Once the candle is created live, they can then give it a name (or name it after themselves) and write it directly on the labels for both the primary and secondary packaging – giving every candle a unique flair.
